Twenty-seventeen is moving fast! Happy April, ISR friends and family.Well, the 19 year record breaking snow we received this past winter is paying dividends in the shape of the course – the Ranch is going off!!
The course has been getting rave reviews, the fairways are about as good as they’ve been in years, and the greens are rolling true. Thanks to our Superintendent, Dwight Stump, and the whole grounds crew team for their effort in opening the course in such great shape. We still have a ways to go on getting the course exactly where we want it, but we are making progress.
I’m happy to say we’ve been seeing more of the female gender swinging clubs and hanging out up at the Ranch. Which is just in time for our newly recreated Ladies Golf Union. Nine holes of play & socializing on Wednesday evenings.
Also, our Indian Springs Ranch Membership is growing!…We just hit the 62 mark! Local discount rates apply, and it is a steal for all the perks involved so tell your buddies. Men, women, and juniors are all welcome.
Tournaments: We would like to start the ISR Match Play Championship. Please let us now your thoughts on having this event every year starting in the spring of the season. Cinco de Mayo Scramble is right around the corner and Men’s league teams are already shaping up guys starting to get there practice time in.
Quick marshal note: Pace of play is always a hot topic at any golf course. It’s simple, please be courteous to others, move along in a timely manner and keep up with the group in front of you. We love our 12 minute tee times so don’t crowd anyone off the first tee. Thank you!
Why do we Play?
1. More good shots, less bad shots
2.Have fun with friends
3.Shoot a Lower Score
